PetDose ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
All your pet and medication data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not have access to your data. We do not operate servers that store your personal information.
When you use the AI prescription scanning feature, a photo of your medication label is sent to a third-party AI service (Anthropic) for text extraction. This image is processed in real-time and is not stored by us or the AI provider after processing. This feature is optional and you can always enter medication details manually.
If you add a photo to your pet's profile, the image is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to any server.
PetDose uses local notifications to remind you of medication doses. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers.
We do not use any analytics or crash reporting services. We have no visibility into how you use the app.
PetDose does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
